Why study with us?
With the need for environmental sustainability becoming increasingly pressing in the face of rising pollution, climate change and natural resource depletion, environmental managers need to operate at the intersection of disciplines as varied as ecology, economics, management and planning. Our programs combine high academic standards and interdisciplinary learning to equip our students with cutting-edge knowledge and tools
Why study with us?

Do I qualify?
You do not have a background in management or environmental studies and wonder if you meet the academic requirements to apply? Our programs are designed to be accessible to students with diverse backgrounds. We think that being exposed to the points of view and skills of fellow students from different disciplines contributes to the learning experience. Introductory courses are available for students who lack basic training in key disciplines

Careers for environmental managers
Welcome!

Addressing modern environmental issues necessitates drawing knowledge from multiple scientific disciplines. The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management was first in recognizing the need for interdisciplinary environmental management studies in the higher education system in Israel. Since 1998, we have been training graduate and post-graduate students to become sustainability professionals. Today, our alumni hold key positions in environmental research and management in Israel. We invite you to discover the dynamism and innovative vision of our academic programs and research.
